Comments:
  • Email asks you to confirm/update/verify your account data at PayPal by visiting the given link. You will be taken to a spoof website where your details will be captured for the phishers.


  • PayPal never send their users emails requesting personal details in this way.


  • The REAL URL of the spoof website is disguised as "www.paypal.com".


  • The REAL URL of the spoof website looks nothing like the actual PayPal URL.

"Recently your Paypal account balance has fallen below zero."

Recently your Paypal account balance has fallen below zero. To ensure uninterrupted access to your PayPal account, you must add funds to your PayPal account so that the balance is zero or a positive amount.

To add funds to your account:
1. Log in to your PayPal account by click on the link below www.paypal.com
2. Click "Restore Your Balance".
3. Follow the instructions to transfer funds to your PayPal account in at least the amount of your negative balance.
You can also add funds using a check or money order.

Make your check or money order payable to PayPal, and send it to: PayPal P.O. Box 45950 Omaha, NE 68145-0950

Please include the email address associated with your PayPal account in the memo area and allow ten business days for the funds to be posted to your PayPal account.

If your account shows that you owe money because of an open complaint, you can visit the Resolution Center to resolve the issue.

To access the Resolution Center:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click the "Resolution Center" subtab on your Account Overview.
- All open complaints will be listed.

If you have already added funds to your account so that the balance is at least zero, please disregard this message.
