Comments:
  • Email asks you to confirm/update/verify your account data at eBay by visiting the given link. You will be taken to a spoof website where your details will be captured for the phishers.

  • eBay never send their users emails requesting personal details in this way.

  • The REAL URL of the spoof website is disguised as "https://arribada.ebay.com/saw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll? PlaceCCInfo&page=0&adult=0&ru=default&BillingAccou ntType =default&pass=j1Imdqx.bbDxfw4cdVMuQ/&fromsyi=0".

  • The REAL URL of the spoof website looks nothing like the actual eBay URL.

Content

"Dear eBay Member,This email was send by the eBay's Trust and Safety Department servers to inform you that during our regular update and verification of the accounts we were unable to verify your current information."

Website:

Spoof website loads as a popup in front of the real eBay website to appear more genuine!
