  • Email asks you to confirm/update/verify your account data at PayPal by visiting the given link. You will be taken to a spoof website where your details will be captured for the phishers.


  • PayPal never send their users emails requesting personal details in this way.


  • The REAL URL of the spoof website is disguised as "https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ login-run".


  • The REAL URL of the spoof website has been chosen to look very similar to the actual PayPal URL. Do not be fooled!

In year 2006 all PayPal accounts will be with complete detailed information! You can submit additional information at the following link https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr? cmd=_login-run
According to new changes in Service Agreement any account that won't pass this procedure will be deleted from the system in 72 hours after receiving this letter.
