  • Email asks you to confirm/update/verify your account data at Abbey by visiting the given link. You will be taken to a spoof website where your details will be captured for the phishers.


  • Abbey never send their users emails requesting personal details in this way.


  • The anchor text appears as a legitimate URL, but don't be fooled - clicking on it will take you to a phishing site!

complaints from our customers for
unauthorized use of the Abbey Online
accounts.
As a result we periodically review Abbey
Online Accounts and temporarily restrict
access of those accounts which we
think are venerable to the unauthorized use.

This message has been sent to you from Abbey
National because we have noticed invalid
login attempts into your account,
due to this we are temporarily limiting and
restricting your account access...
