This spoof email was reported and in distribution from 31st October 2003 and we also have an image of the email and spoof eBay sign in page. These are just image snapshots of the originals, so there is absolutely no code included and none of the links or buttons will now work. The images shown here have been reduced to 80% of the original size

The email seems genuine enough, but it contains a cloaked link which sends you to a spoof eBay sign in page .....

The spoof web pages...

As discussed previously, the link actually takes you to somewhere other than the genuine eBay site. This spoof eBay sign in page is hosted at the following URL (which is registered to an individual and not eBay at all) ...

If you go and enter any information into this spoof eBay sign in page and press 'Submit', you send all that information (which they will no doubt attempt to use to your detriment.) to the scammer's, while you are diverted to the genuine ebay.com sign in page..
