Agreed... I'd want my wife to hold me.

But, I understand the other woman was there
to control the situation, wipe the drool away
and to deal with any last
minute jerks, twitches or all out panic.

As an aside... I wonder what would happen if
someone took the medication, then immediately
realised it's not what they
wanted in a moment of clarity, then said:
"I've made a mistake, I don't want to die,
please save me!" could that be
done? Or is he fucked regardless?
