  • Email asks you to confirm/update/verify your account data at Credit Union Australia by visiting the given link. You will be taken to a spoof website where your details will be captured for the phishers.


  • Credit Union Australia never send their users emails requesting personal details in this way.


  • The REAL URL of the spoof website is disguised as "https://webbanker.cua.com.au/ webbanker/CUA".


  • The REAL URL of the spoof website looks nothing like the actual Credit Union Australia URL.

We recently have determined that different computers have logged on to your CUA Web Banker account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons.

We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us.

If this is not completed by June 20, 2009, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes.
