eBay 'update seller account' spoof email scam!
The spoof email goes on to say that your account may become temporarily suspended if you do not use the link provided to verify your account information. The link is cloaked (disguised) and actually would take you to a fake eBay page which would provide a means to supply information such as credit or debit card and bank details.
The fake web page has been hosted at a number of different places including Yahoo web space and BellSouth.net in the US. Should you receive this hoax, then you can expect it to show a different URL in your browser address bar.
