WARNINGS

1. A lottery variant of the 419 style of scam. Correspondance will simply result in requests for 'administration fees' to cover various costs, but you'll never actually get any money back!

2. Worldwinings Lottery almost certainly do not exist, and did you actually enter this lottery? An almost universal rule is that if you haven't entered a competition, you haven't won it! And even if you have the prize is likely is likely to be a fraction of that promised. You'd think a financial company would actually be able to spell the word 'financial' as well!

3. Notice the bad spelling and grammar in the email, wuch as 'winnings' spelt 'winings'.

4. Appears to be targeted - i.e. the scammers send this to specific email addresses and include the address in the body of the email. This could fool some people into thinking that the email really has been sent to only them, when in fact its just another mass mailing scam.

" Attn:xxx , This is to acknowledge the receipt of your filled claims verification form that was received by us. I must say that you should count your selfextremely lucky to have emerged as one of our winners in this years lucky dip sweepstakes."...

If you have received this email, please remember that it is very common for these email scams to be redistributed at a later date with only slightly different content or the same but with the fake page(s) hosted by a different provider. Also, once you have received one of these hoaxes, it is also common place to receive at least another one and usually a day or two after the first, although not necessarily from the same apparent sender.
